We want your visit with us to be special.

Visiting any church for the very first time can be tense and apprehensive. What can I expect? Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What's here for my kids? There are many questions that can surface. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to VBC will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

What to wear:
There is not a dress code at Victory Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit

What time to show up:
For any service, allow 10 extra minutes before a service for parking, to get settled and to visit with those around you. Sunday School 10:00 a.m., Sunday service 11:00 a.m., Sunday evening service 5:00 p.m., Wednesday Bible study and prayer service 7:00 p.m. All special meetings will be advertised.

Where to go:
We are located in Sherwood Park. Please visit our location for address, map, directions and further information about where we are.

Enter the church though the main entrance. There will be someone to greet you at the door. If you are looking for additional information, there is a welcome desk to your right just after you enter the building. If you are looking for the auditorium, simply proceed strait ahead to get there.

Where to park:
Parking spots are located near the main entrance. Handicap parking is available next to the building.

What's here for my kids:
Our church offers a safe, clean, and highly staffed nursery for infants and toddlers for all Sunday services. Nursery attendants can easily contact you through an usher if there is a need.

On Sundays there is our Sunday School for all ages at 10:00 am. For children two years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with friendly and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. Adults work with children providing a caring and nurturing influence through biblical and age appropriate teaching. Students seventh grade through college age attend the worship service with their parents.

There is an 11:00 a.m. worship service in the auditorium. We also have Children's church downstairs from age 4 to age 10, where the children learn God's word, as well as character development, memory verses, Christ honoring music and more.

There are additional activities for youth which include a sports and recreation time (when weather permits), teen get together, Vacation Bible School, and various camps.

If there's something we missed on this list, please consult the quick links at the top of this page or contact us. If you are needing some help when you arrive, there are many people available to assist you. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Victory Baptist will be comfortable and exciting! We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very first moment you step into the church building. Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
